Professional Experience
Eric C. Schmalbach was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 2006. His practice consists primarily of the representation of clients in the areas of oil and gas, including royalty litigation, title opinions, transactional real estate matters, and real estate related litigation. Mr. Schmalbach’s legal expertise draws from his experience as a Petroleum Landman performing due diligence, title research, and lease acquisition in Oklahoma and Texas. Mr. Schmalbach is also licensed to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
Educational Background
Mr. Schmalbach attended the University of Oklahoma and received his B.S. in Mathematics in 2002. He continued his studies at the University of Oklahoma College of Law and received his J.D. in 2006. While at the University of Oklahoma College of Law, Mr. Schmalbach was involved in Oklahoma Journal of Law and Technology, Phi Delta Phi Legal Fraternity, and the Student Bar Association.
