Professional Experience
Alan W. Tomme was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 1981.  After graduating from law school, Mr. Tomme was hired by ARCO Oil and Gas Company where he worked in the Land Department in Midland, Texas and Tyler, Texas and Natural Gas Marketing Department in Dallas, Texas.  In December 1987, Mr. Tomme joined the Law Department of Union Pacific Resources Company in Fort Worth, Texas, where he concentrated on transactional, regulatory and legislative matters.  While at UPRC, he represented the company’s marketing subsidiary before the United States Senate and House of Representatives, the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission in Washington, D.C., the Railroad Commission of Texas and other state regulatory agencies.  Ultimately, Mr. Tomme became the General Counsel for Union Pacific Resources Energy Marketing, Inc.  In September 2005, Mr. Tomme joined the Firm concentrating on general oil and gas matters, including title examination, as well as transactional and regulatory matters.

Educational Background
Mr. Tomme received his preparatory education at Harding University where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1978.  Mr. Tomme received his legal education at Pepperdine University in Malibu, California, and Baylor University.  Mr. Tomme graduated from the Baylor University School of Law in 1981 with a Juris Doctor (J.D.) Degree.

Professional Organizations
Mr. Tomme is currently a member of the State Bar of Texas, the Oil, Gas & Energy Resources Section of the State Bar of Texas, and the East Texas Association of Petroleum Landmen.  Mr. Tomme is formerly a member of the Federal Energy Bar Association, Rocky Mountain Energy Law Foundation, the American Corporate Counsel Association, and the American Bar Association.
